Although you may have a guilty feeling later, you cannot skip something that has a taste of heaven. Having a bite of perfectly made dessert feels is sheer happiness, satisfaction, and like falling in love again!

Apart from being a dessert lover, I enjoy cooking & love to eat what I have baked myself. Even though baking demands precise cooking skills, it is an intensely satisfying & fabulous thing.

The slow process of measuring, sifting, stirring and then waiting as the dough rises in the oven while the house gets saturated with the scents of chocolate and butter. Later on, pulling the pans out of the oven & seeing the dough transformed into a delicious dessert feels your heart with immense joy. The key to perfect baking is an art you acquire with practice & starting off with the right baking recipes.

  • Improve your dessert with a little addition of Bailey. Replace water with Bailey’s when you make brownies from a mix. Baileys flavor sparkles through the chocolate brownie.
  • Make your brownie top crunchier & pleasant by whipping together eggs & sugar. Don’t worry about the middle layering as it will still remain fudgy. You can also spread a small amount of vegetable oil or milk over the brownie batter before baking.
  • Try to measure by weight instead of cups as it is more accurate, easy & less messy. Also, make sure to zero out the weight of the cup before measuring.
  • Enhance the chocolate flavor of the desert with the addition of espresso & vanilla to the chocolate cake mix. Espresso brings out the darker elements in chocolate whereas vanilla improves the flavor of the entire dessert.
  • Melt butter & stir it in cocoa until dissolved to replace unsweetened baking chocolate. Keep the proportion 1:3 where one contributes to one tablespoon of butter with three tablespoons of cocoa powder.
  • Add mayonnaise to make your dessert deliciously moist. Since Mayonnaise is mostly eggs & oil, so you’re just adding more of the good stuff to your dessert.
  • When you want to check if the cake is done, instead of poking holes press the cake lightly. The cake will spring back if it is ready.
